Using your fingers in Nine Star Ki

Suppose you are sitting with a person with Nine Star Ki Numbers 9.1.4.

It is a 5 Earth year and it is now April. The person tells you that: I will fly to (such and such place) in December.

In this case, use your index, middle and ring finger to project the Luo Shu for a 5 Earth year.

Again, you first want to locate Star for February in a 5 Earth year and using the equation, you know it is Star 2. Flying over your fingers you now obtain the Star for December.

December of a 5 Earth year is 1 Water. Project the month square just in your mind while using your thumb.

Luo Shu

Memorize the locations occupied by the person (9 and 1 underscored) and mind opposite Stars.

Sitting in front of a glass of beer, chatting to this person, you would be probably able to say some nice things and you do not even need the person to know how exactly you are doing this.

In this method of projecting the Luo Shu on your first three fingers, you do not necessarily disregard the pinky.

The Luo Shu on your fingers will not include your pinky, but this finger can be used for alternative equations or to set aside other significant information.
